Offering 80+ Hours of actor training for both the film/TV and stage: personalized career guidance and assistance, headshots, acting clips, showcase/workshops with agents, managers, and casting directors, and unlimited refresher courses during the duration of the program! Recent graduates of Act First Studios have signed with agencies such as Stewart Talent, Gersh, MAA, Innovative Artists, Stalwart Talent and Litehouse Management; and can be seen on Broadway in The Lion King, Hamilton, Beautiful, Jersey Boys, and Hadestown as well as Off Broadway, Tours and Regionally. Act First Studios is now interviewing and auditioning for its 5 Month Musical Theatre Program. This program is created for performers with a base knowledge of Musical Theatre, both those that are new in NYC or those that are looking to expand their talent. Act First offers personalized guidance/training and a flexible program with proven results with a strong focus on collaboration and diversity.. Students will be in class for 8-10 hours a week for 5 months culminating in a cabaret performance and industry referrals. Recent graduates of Act First Studios have signed with agencies such as Stewart Talent, Gersh, MAA, Innovative Artists, Stalwart Talent and Litehouse Management; and can be seen on Broadway in The Lion King, Hamilton, Beautiful, Jersey Boys, and Hadestown as well as Off Broadway, Tours and Regionally. Act First Studios Full Time One Year Conservatory Program is now enrolling and auditioning for 2025. Graduates of this program we will receive a diploma in acting for stage and screen. With a cohort of 10 actors, they will spend 24 to 34 hours a week in classes including scene study, acting for the screen, commercial work, voice, dialect, physical acting, and weekly industry guests to best prepare our actors for work upon graduation! The program begins on August 28, 2025 with graduation scheduled in May 2026. Students will perform two fully produced plays in repertory at Theatre Row to conclude their studies. They will also have a full acting reel and referrals to agents, managers, and casting directors. Partial scholarships available to both International and Domestic Students. Act first Studios currently has an acceptance rate of 6% for our adult acting programs. Recent graduates of our Spring/Summer 2024 Programs have signed with agencies such as Stewart Talent, Gersh, MAA, Innovative Artists and management companies including 3 Arts, Atlas Management, and Litehouse. Students of Act First can be seen on Broadway in Hamilton, The Lion King, Hadestown and more. Act First Studios takes pride is training and coaching the next generation of actors! our programs for Kids/Teens start at 8 years old and go for 4-6 Months long. Students can train in Acting, Singing, Dance and Commercial Modeling. This program is by interview with the student and the parents as class sizes are maxed at 8 students (normally 4-6) to ensure the success of our kid/teen students. In 2024 we are proud to say 100% of our kid/teen students gained representation! Some agencies and management companies that have signed out students include Gersh, Innovative Talent, The Osbrink Agency, BLOC, IMG Models, and Stewart Talent.
